7.2.4 MIRROR ENTITY
The MIRROR ENTITY command is used to mirror or mirror and copy a group of
entities about any axis on the drawing.
COMMAND FORMAT
#MIRROR ENTITY [modifiers] :Ent ... :Loc x1 x2 :Ent ...
The entities to be mirrored or copied are selected at the Ent propmt.
The locations 'x1' and 'x2' define the mirroring axis. ( See fig. 7.22 ).
MODIFIERS
COPY The COPY modifier is used to create a new copy of the entities
that were identified. The original entities are left intact
while new entities which are the mirror image of the existing
entities are created. ( See fig. 7.23 ).
Without the COPY modifier, the original entities are mirrored
about the axis defined by the locations 'x1' and 'x2'.
.ACTIVELAYER When entities are copied using the MIRROR ENTITY command, the
new entities will be created on the same layer as the original
entities. If the ACTIVELAYER modifier is used, the new
entities will be created on the current active layer.
.ACTIVEDEPTH When entities are copied using the MIRROR ENTITY command, the
new entities will be created on the same depth as the
original entities. If the ACTIVEDEPTH modifier is used, the
new entities will be created on the current active depth.
NOTEXTMIRROR This modifier is used to inhibit mirroring of text. The
location of any text entity is affected by the mirror, but
the text itself will not be mirrored. ( See fig. 7.24 ).
